Had a cracking start to career with three wins in first six starts, but failed to add to that in the remainder of last season. However on seasonal return. He won in the mud at Punchestown (2m 3f, soft to heavy) in November, winning by 4.5 lengths. Struggled in the latest, when weakening over the 2m trip here and connections will be looking for a better run this time around, now back to heavy conditions. Needs to bounce back quickly here and is capable of going close.
3:00pm Warwick (4 Places) DJANGO DJANGO - 15/2
Beat race rival and favourite, Notachance a year ago at Newbury (2m 7f, heavy), but has struggled to replicate that since. After a couple of poor runs this season, a fifth at Newbury offers some hope of a recovery, but major improvement is still needed, although heavy conditions may well suit. Place backing looks the safer option, with anymore a tough ask.
6:50pm Kempton (4 Places) ELMEJOR - 7/1
Previous winner polytrack and on snow, with a couple of decent second places recently too, including over C&D in November, when a length behind the winner. Expected to be competitive once again and a favourable draw aides his chances. Each-way claims here.
