Vastly improved since debut thirteenth a year ago, finishing sixth on seasonal return at Hereford (2m, soft) in November, before placing fourth at Uttoxeter (2m 3f, soft) last time out on handicap debut and with first time cheekpieces and tongue-tie. More to come off the back of that performance and looks a good each-way selection this lunchtime.

Without a win since completing a double back in April 2017 and despite some poor form since, a third on latest at Catterick (2m 3f, soft) sixteen days ago, on chasing debut, bodes well. Comes in another 3lbs lower and if can build on that first start over fences, he could well feature.
3:10pm Punchestown (5 Places) DE BENNETTE – 13/2
11yo mare’s last win was back in January, when eight lengths clear at Clonmel (2m, soft), but form disappeared for the remainder of last season. Has come back in better shape this time and has steadily improved, culminating in a third over fences at [Naas[(https://gg.co.uk/news/racings/) (2m, heavy) seventeen days ago. Now approaching twelfth birthday, but brother De Benno won a similar race to this at Navan, when 13yo, so age shouldn’t be a factor.
