Struggled when slow out of the stalls last time out and may need to produce a career best to win, but should at very least feature in the battle for places.
1:25pm Sedgefield (4 Places) MY RENAISSANCE – 11/2
Enjoys this track having picked up a fourth win in nine starts here, in September (2m, good). Did fall last time out at Musselburgh but no ill-effects were reported and should be ready to go. Concern over conditions are justified, but still looks capable of pushing himself into contention.
1:35pm Huntingdon (4 Places) ADJOURNED – 14/1
Not won since debut victory at Southwell (1m 7f, good) some two years ago, but has been in and around the leaders since, when finishing. Returned from a year off last month, when pulled up at Hereford, clearly needing the run, before finishing fourth at Leicester (1m 7f, soft) and some 6 lengths behind. Room for improvement now sharpness is regained and elevation in trip is sure to help too.
