Hull City v Watford (3:00pm Saturday)

Hull City take on mid-table Watford in a must win for the Tigers, who are battling for survival.

Hull City have won three and lost three of the last six matches, with the record at the KCom Stadium, their main chance of survival, having gone unbeaten at home in the last nine home matches. Watford have won three of the last four games played, but away from home they struggle, winning just once in the last twelve road trips.

Watford beat Hull by a goal to nil at Vicarage Road, in October, but I expect a different outcome here, with Hull’s need for points being the greater than a Hornets side, whose season is petering out. It’s a difficult one to nail down, but I’m going for a Hull City win.

Burnley v Manchester United (2:15pm Sunday)

Burnley take on Manchester United with the Clarets looking to cement their status and United looking to get into the top four.

Despite sitting eight points clear of the drop zone, Burnley’s single victory in the last eleven games has given manager Sean Dyche cause for concern, despite some great home form. Man United are still challenging for the top four and are in great form, having lost once in the last eighteen, although they have found it difficult to finish games, having drawn six of them.

The earlier meeting between the sides at Old Trafford saw a rare away point for Burnley in a goalless draw. Jose Mourinho will have eyes on next week’s Manchester derby, so may look to rotate his squad, which can only benefit Burnley and I feel this may end in a draw.

Liverpool v Crystal Palace (4:30pm)

Two in-form sides meet at Anfield on Sunday afternoon, in what should be a fast paced encounter between Liverpool and Crystal Palace.

Liverpool are unbeaten in the last seven games, with five wins as they look to strengthen their grip on a top four place. Crystal Palace have lost just once in the last seven, with five wins that have helped them go seven points clear of the drop zone.

When these sides meet, there are usually plenty of goals, with the last nine meetings producing thirty-six goals and not a single clean sheet. Liverpool have won the last two meetings and I feel they are better equipped to win the match than the Eagles but only just. Liverpool to win and both to score.
