Arsenal v Everton (3:00pm Sunday)
First up are Arsenal, who need a big win against Everton to give themselves a chance of reaching the top four and Champions League football next season.
Arsenal have done all they can to keep themselves in the hunt, but despite eight wins in nine games, that one defeat to rivals Tottenham, could be enough to condemn the Gunners to Europa League football for the first time in many years. Everton beat Watford last time out, in what was the Toffee’s first win in four games. They are guaranteed a European place in what will be seen as a good season for Ronald Koeman’s side.
Arsenal have not lost at home to Everton in over twenty meetings, with the last three games at the Emirates won by at least two goals each time. Everton will try to spoil things and cannot be discounted with Romelu Lukaku upfront, but I see a win for Arsenal here.
Arsenal to win and both to score @15/8
Swansea City v West Brom (3:00pm Sunday)
Two sides who have nothing more than pride to play for, match up at the Liberty Stadium, with Swansea City taking on West Brom.
Swansea’s recent run of form and other results mean the Swans are safe going into the last day, with an impressive ten points from four games, sealing their status for next season. West Brom have failed to win in any of their last eight games, yet still reside in the top ten, such has been their season, although Tony Pulis will be disappointed in his side’s drop in form.
On paper this looks like it should be an entertaining game, with both sides able to enjoy the last day, but on form I have to side with Paul Clement’s side, i expect a few goals but a home win too.
Swansea To Win @Evens
Liverpool v Middlesbrough (3:00pm Sunday)
Liverpool can seal their Champions League place with a home win over already relegated Middlesbrough at Anfield, in what would be a bonus in Jurgen Klopp’s first full season.
Liverpool have lost just once in the last eleven games, with seven victories in that time, as Phillipe Coutinho continues to play a major role in attack. Middlesbrough will return to the Championship in what has been a disappointment for the north-east club, with one league win in the last twenty games summing up their season.
This should be a straight forward win for the Reds, with Middlesbrough unlikely to show much resistance.
Liverpool Win -2 Goal Handicap @21/20
