OR Official Rating
The opening race is class two encounter, hosting twelve runners over a mile and six furlongs. The clear 11/4 favourite for this is GG selection First In Line who not only sits some nine points clear in the OR ratings, but has two wins and two seconds in four career starts so far, including second in the Melrose at York last time out.
With the at some 13/2 bar, there isn’t much expected in terms of challengers, although Moon King who has won their last five races and Calculation a winner of their previous three trips, have to be respected, in what looks on paper at least to be a straightforward opener for Scoop 6 players.
The next race is over a mile for the Group 3 Superior Mile race, hosting a small field of six runners in what should be a competitive outing. Sharja Bridge leads the way in the market, with the OR leader looking to rediscover the form of five months ago, after difficult trips in the Lockinge and Queen Anne Stakes in more recent times.
GG pick, Raising Sand and Great Scot lead the challengers, with the former looking to continue on from their International Stakes win at Ascot, while the latter’s connections will a fourth in a class one trip at Salisbury last time out, will be a springboard for success. Here Comes When and Matterhorn cannot be ignored, with outsider Walkinthesand also in the hunt for a good performance here, in what is a tough contest to predict.
For race three, we visit Ascot for class 2 sprint, over seven furlongs, with sixteen runners taking to the track. Spanish City and GG pick Ripp Orf share favourite duties, with Tabarrak making up the trio of runners that are likely to be battling for the win here.
Spanish City comes into the race off the back of a class three win at Yarmouth last time out and has performed well at this level previously. Ripp Orf has previously won at this level a year ago, and after a struggle since then, has started to return to more expected form, with a runner-up spot at Newbury last time out, showing this to be true, while Tabarrak, who won the Guisborough Stakes at Redcar last year, continues their strong form and will be a big threat to the leading pair.

The second half of this Scoop 6, begins with the only race from Kempton on our list, with this mile long, class two trip hosting a field of eleven runners. Kasbaan leads the market and comes in off the back of a course and distance win last time out, with excellent Kuwait Currency, another course and distance winner last time out, just behind and joint RPR leader.
OR leader, Motawaj followed up successive victories at lower levels, with a sixth place last time out, in a class two at Newmarket and may need a little more improvement here, while the GG selection and other joint RPR leader, Gossiping has been a little disappointing since winning the class two Investec Mile at Epsom back in May, although they struggled for room, when finishing tenth last time out at Goodwood, so if they can keep themselves out of trouble, they should be in the mix here.
For the penultimate race, we return to Haydock, with this mile and six furlong trip, featuring sixteen runners in a class two outing. OR and TS leader,Corelli also leads the betting for this one, with the American horse narrowly missing out on a first class two success, on three of the last four starts, including by a head in the Sky Bet Handicap at York last time out.
Behind the favourite, GG pick Alright Sunshine leads the rest of the field, as they go looking for a third successive victory, having won at Musselburgh last time out by over a length. Reshoun and Blakeney Point also need to be respected here too, in what could be quite a battle between several, if not all of these four runners.
The final leg of the days Scoop 6, is a class one trip over six furlongs and featuring eleven runners. GG pick Khadeem and Hello Youmzain look to be the main contenders here, with the former winning the Carnarvon Stakes back in May and continuing that form with a win at Goodwood last time out.
Hello Youmzain is another class winner, picking up the Sandy Lanes Stakes over course and distance in May, before following up with a third at Ascot, although a break of 78 days may have taken away their sharpness a little.
