All but two of the races take place over a mile and a quarter or more, with three races featuring ten runners or less. Check out the GG selections for each below, along with the favourites expected to be challenging for the victory.

The opening race is a cavalry charge of five furlongs, as twenty-two runners take on this class two outing. Favourite for the race is Bielsa who has won all three career starts so far, including a class three, last time out at Thirsk. A Momentofmadness is one of several joint RPR leaders and the main challenger according to the market. They have plenty of experience, but have not won for a year, although that was over course and distance.
Barring around a half dozen runners, the majority of the field have a genuine chance of picking up a win, with the likes of Dazzling Dan, Equitation and Justanotherbottle all coming into the race off the back of a win last time out, while the GG pick is Muthmir, who despite failing to win over the last year, has class one victories to their name and has won over course and distance.
The next race is the “Petingo Handicap” over a mile and a half, with seventeen runners battling for victory, in this first of our trio of Irish races. This looks to be a straight three-way tussle according to the betting, with favourite Kastasa, narrowly ahead of Buildmeupbuttercup and GG pick Eminence.
Kastasa has won three of their last four outings, including the last two at Sligo and Curragh. Buildmeupbuttercup also comes into the race off a victory last time out, winning impressively by four and a half lengths at Galway. Eminence won back here in April and has since impressed with thirds in the King George V at Ascot and the Unibet Handicap at Goodwood
For race three, we head over to Essex for a seven furlong trip, hosting thirteen runners. This is quite the open race, with joint RPR leader Piece Of History returning to the venue of his last victory, hoping to rediscover that form, after some struggles in recent outing. They are, narrowly ahead of the other RPR leader Arbalet who has shown glimpses of their abilities, with fourth places at class one level.
Habub and Lethal Lunch flesh out the main quartet of contenders here, with the GG selection being War Glory, who won over course and distance last time out at this level and surprisingly sits at 9/1 in the market.

The second half of this Scoop 6 begins with the big race of the day, the St.Leger, as eight runners take on this mile and six furlong journey. Big favourite and the GG pick for this is Logician, who has won all four career starts so far, including the Great Voltigeur Stakes at York last time out.
Sir Dragonet is the big threat among the rest of the field, although they have not quite kicked on from their Chester Vase victory back in May, but this is a good opportunity here. Behind them, **Il Paradiso has attracted some market interest and did miss out on a third place by a neck to Dee Ex Bee at York, last time out, so needs to be respected.
For the penultimate race, we head over to Ireland once again, for a mile and a half Group 3 race, as nine runners look to take the victory. Buckhurst is the favourite here and the GG selection too, with the OR and joint RPR leader winning the Dubai International Stakes and Royal Whip Stakes (Both at Curragh) in their last two starts.
Two runners look to be in contention to challenger, with another recent Curragh winner in Mount Everest looking to make it four consecutive races in the top two places and joint RPR leader Leo De Fury looking for a third career win, in this their fifth start.
The final leg is the Irish Champion Stakes, a Group one outing for eight runners, over a mile and a quarter distance. Our GG selectors have gone for favourite Magical, who after four victories in a row, including the Tattersalls Gold Cup at Curragh, has finished second in three races, to Enable (twice) and Crystal Ocean. Fortunately, this time neither are in this race.
However, there are a trio of useful challengers here, with Elarqam a recent winner of the York Stakes, Madhmoon who won the Desmond Stakes at this course last time out and Headman, winner of the London Gold Cup at Newbury.
This looks a tough race to pick through here and a potential nailbiter once again for Scoop 6 players.
