Every day, we’re going to be bringing you our lay of the day, in the hope of taking advantage of this FANTASTIC WELCOME OFFER, with Saturday's selection racing in the 7:40pm Kempton, a Class 4 Handicap, over 1m 2f and hosting nine runners.
The Lay Of The Day
Big Country goes in as favourite this interesting Class 4 handicap contest, with the Michael Appleby trained runner dropping down in level, having recently placed second in a Class 3 contest at Chelmsford (1m 2f, a/w) back in August, when beaten by Red October. The drop in class will no doubt suit, but there are a handful of contenders that cannot be easily dismissed.
No Nay Bella goes n as second favourite, showing good form, especially at Kempton, having won on her last two visits here, with the most recent, coming in her latest run, twenty-three days ago, when 2.25 lengths clear of Licit over the 1m 2f trip. A 5lbs rise against male opposition may require further improvement, but she has every chance based on recent trips.
Behind No Nay Bella, the Tom Marquand ride, Culture has won four of ten career starts so far, including a double at Kempton last month (1m 2f - 1m 3f), before a creditable third at Chantilly three weeks ago, when just half a length off the winner. And finally Andaleep picked up a double at Sandown over the Summer, before switching to hurdles in recent outings. He switches code once again here and is fitted with a tongue-tie and has the potential to be in the mix, based on those Sandown performances.
Can Big Country take the victory, or will one of the aforementioned challengers take the spoils this evening?
Lay Big Country and take up the excellent SMARKETS WELCOME OFFER below!
