Places available per race are subject to change, if fields reduce in size

Race 1 (1:35pm) CONGO RIVER

Mendelssohn colt, out of Tessie Flip, who cost $400,000 as a yearling and makes debut for Aiden O’Brien. Closely related to U.S. multiple winner, Jo Jo Air and half-brother to a couple of lesser winners. Alongside stablemate Age Of Kings, has an interesting opportunity in this winnable contest and should at least be in the mix as they head for home.

Race 2 (2:10pm) TOUGH TALK

Winner on only run so far, a month ago, when taking the spoils over C&D (yielding) and beating Little Big bear by a shorthead, having really pushed on in the closing stages. The second has since gone on to win, franking that form and he has a strong chance here, even with the rise in class. Comes in tongue-tied for this contest which may eeke out a little more and overall is expected to be right in the hunt for the win.

Race 3 (2:45pm) POWER UNDER ME

Debut winner back in October 2020, but it took six further runs before finding the winners circle again, taking the spoils over C&D (yielding to soft) by 2.75 lengths last October. After a near six month break, the Ger Lyons runner won at Cork, beating Mooniesta (6f, good) by a neck last month. Yard is having a good spell of form and there is a genuine claims for a hat-trick for this talented gelding.

Race 4 (3:20pm) BUCKAROO

Two wins and a place in six starts and comes into this contest off the back of a victory over C&D (yielding) three weeks ago, when 4 lengths clear of Wexford Native in the Listed – Tetrach Stakes. Native Trail is the big favourite here, but Joseph O’Brien’s charge looks to offer the biggest threat to the Godolphin runner.

Race 5 (3:55pm) JASON THE MILITANT

Late starter and a smart jumper, with this now 8-yo, picking up a fifth career win in twelve starts, last time out, on the flat at Naas in a Listed contest, back in October, beating Azallya by half a length. Looks capable of more in this discipline, with a tongue strap added this time around. Strong claims and should hit the places at very least.

Race 6 (4:30pm) MASHHOOR

Only victory came on the second career start, when winning at Nottingham, back in April of last year, with results since continuing his useful form. He switched from Sir Michael Stoute to Jonny Murtagh’s yard and made a solid debut at Cork, last month, placing fourth of seventeen. Appeals with this handy mark and can feature.
