Race 1 (3:45pm) KIMNGRACE

Two wins in eight starts, with the last of those coming at Goodwood (6f, good) in June, when beating Dreams Of Thunder by a neck. Richard Hughes’ mare followed that up with a second over C&D, splitting two next time out winners, before a fifth of twelve back at Goodwood last time out. Deon Le Roux claims a useful 5lbs and she should feature amongst the leading candidates in this contest.

Race 2 (4:15pm) KITAI

No Nay Never filly, out of Belle Isle, who cost é150,000 as a yearling. She is a half-sister to three winners, including Woody Creek and Abel Handy, while the dam only ran twice overall. Charlie and Mark Johnston are 12-52 with 2-yo newcomers this year and this looks another well placed contender.

Sky Bet Sunday Series Newcomers’ EBF Maiden Stakes (For horses Which Have Never Run) (GBB Race)

Race 3 (4:45pm) GOOD EARTH

Impressive in recent months, with two wins, three seconds and a couple of thirds in the last seven starts, with the latest victory coming at York (6f, good to firm) in the penultimate start, sealing a double, 0.75 lengths ahead of Jordan Electrics. Michael Herrington’s gelding missed out on a treble, when 2 lengths adrift of International Girl, again at York, last time out. Has chances in what looks to be a very open contest.

Race 4 (5:15pm) FORGIVABLE

Tim Easterby’s gelding was a six race maiden, putting in useful displays without getting close until the penultimate start, when third of nine and just 0.75 lengths behind Bullet Force at Pontefract. He then improved to finally take a victory, beating Berry Edge by a neck at Redcar (1m 2f, good to firm). He looked good over the extended trip and looks capable of adding to that victory here.

Race 5 (7:45pm) INDIAN DREAM

Michael Bell’s charge had made some useful runs, before returning from a 55 day break and gelding op to take the spoils at Epsom (7f, good to firm), when 2.25 lengths clear of Saxon Scene, just ten days ago. Moves into handicaps for this contest and looks well weighted to put themselves in the hunt for the spoils. More to come and could well make it a double.

Race 6 (8:15pm) QUEEN AMINATU

Two seconds in the first two starts, before securing a double, with wins at Wolverhampton and Lingfield on the all-weather in the Spring (both 7f). A third here in the penultimate start here over 7f (soft), saw them just 0.25 lengths behind winner Elsals, before finding a Class 3 contest, a little too hot. Drops back down to Class 4 level and that should see them in the thick of the action.
