Winner back in October and has looked near to her best in three runs this year, placing second here at Salisbury (7f, good to firm) and third at Goodwood (1m, soft). She placed fourth last time out on step up to Class 2 level, when 4 lengths adrift of Dubai Mirage and should appreciate the step up to 1m 2f this evening. Strong claims in a very competitive handicap.

MERESIDE DIVA (6:00pm Hamilton) was 13/2, now 9/2

Just the one run so far, when fourth of eight at Musselburgh (5f, good) ten days ago, finishing 3 lenghts adrift of winner, Run Cmc. That was pretty good, considering the greenness early on, but has plenty of potential, having stayed on in the closing stages. Montelusa may be too good here, but certainly in the mix.

AL AMEEN (5:20pm Ascot) was 8/1, now 6/1

George Boughey’s charge was a winner on New Year’s Day at Southwell (5f, a/w), when a shorthead clear of Dirty Martini. He followed that with successive seconds at Class 4 level and after a brief downward spell of form, bounced back last time out at Newbury (7f, good), when a neck behind winner, Bell Shot in latest. Comes in 1lb higher and is a runner with solid each-way claims.

OLLY’S FOLLY (6:45pm Salisbury) was 33/1, now 12/1

Decent enough hurdler, but is 0-45 on the flat, with the last couple of runs back in the Summer of last year, seeing finish seventh at both Naas (1m, good) and Sligo (1m 2f, yielding). He has placed third in his last three starts over hurdles and it’s hoped that he can finally transfer that form to this discipline. Places at best.

FORCA BRASIL (3:22 Navan) was 33/1, now 14/1

Winner on debut back April 2021, when taking the spoils at Newmarket, but having followed up with a second at Wolverhampton in November, has failed to build upon that and has arguably gone backwards with progression. Races over in Ireland now, for Adrian Murray and has yet to really show that old form so far. Tongue-tie and blinkers are added and its hoped these aide improvement. Places once again
