Today’s selections come from the day’s meetings at Lingfield and Catterick. It’s a tough morning for those looking out for movers in the markets, with very little action overnight. Check out the best available below, with all pricing coming from Unibet
All pricing correct at the time of publication
(1) (3:30pm Lingfield) IN DEMAND was 13/8, now 11/10
No win ten starts, but looked decent, when third at Kempton last time out over 1m 7f, breaking for home on the turn into the home straight, but not able to stay on. Drop to 1m 5f makes obvious sense after that run and has a strong opportunity to break their duck today.
(2) (2:30pm Lingfield) CALIDUS MIRABILIS was 9/2, now 7/2
Winner of successive all-weather races since taking a more prominent approach, with stamina looking good in both. Won at Dundalk over a mile last month, before victory at Chelmsford earlier this month over the extended 1m 2f. Goes up in class today and comes in 3lbs higher, but on current form should be in the hunt for a hat-trick.
(3) (2:45pm Catterick) KAPGA DE LILY was 11/2 now 9/2
Returned after a fourteen month lay-off when seventh of fifteen at Bangor earlier this month, but did have some form before the break, bagging a 66/1 win in a Class 3 at Haydock in March of 2018 and picking up successive fourth places. Should be better off for that first run back in action and can put themselves in the battle for places at very least.
(4) (4:45pm Catterick) TOO MANY CHIEFS was 8/1, now 13/2
Has not been in the best of form, however hints of a return to better performances were clear to see, when fourth at Carlisle last time out over 3m 1f, when leading over the penultimate fence, before weakening. Comes into today’s contest some 18lbs lower than when winning over course and distance in December 2018 and loves heavy ground. Definite contender this afternoon.
(5) (3:45pm Catterick) DUC DE GRISSAY was 14/1, now 17/2
Decent performer over hurdles, with a third place and a couple of fourths to his name, however today’s shorter distance may be an issue on Chase debut. Does enjoy heavy conditions, but will need to improve to be in with a chance. Each-way potential only.
