(1) (6:00pm Newcastle) KIND REVIEW was 5/1, now 11/4
Three career victories, including the latest here, over 6f back in October when a neck ahead of Lead Singer. Dropped off a little, but seems to be back on track as displayed by the third place last time out, six days ago. Surprising to see him back over today’s 5f trip, but very capable nonetheless in a competitive contest. Back in this morning and can along with several others make a strong bid for victory.
(2) (1:05pm Kempton) KIMMINS was 6/1, now 4/1
Closely related to Santini, this Nicky Henderson charge, made a decent debut last month, when fourth at Lingfield (2m, a/w) and 6 lengths adrift of winner, Robelli. Plenty more to come and expected to go close once again. Money this morning has shortened her further and looks the one most likely to challenge Ballybough Mary.
(3) (7:30pm Newcastle) MOXY MARES was 11/1, now 11/2
Only career victory came nearly three years ago at Haydock, while so far this Winter, there has not been too much to shout about, although a second at Yarmouth (1m, soft), along with a third a few starts ago, do at least show positive signs. Well handicapped still and has plenty of backing overnight and this morning to justify each-way appeal at very least.
(4) (4:15pm Kempton) MYPLACEATMIDNIGHT was 22/1, now 11/1
Three career wins and has generally been competitive across the majority of his eighteen starts. Has not had the best of seasonal returns though, finishing fourth at Huntingdon (1m 7f, good) in November and then following up with a fall eighteen days later at Doncaster in a chase contest. Reverts back to a bumper today and should at least be involved.
(5) (4:55pm Thurles) COREY LORD was 33/1, now 18/1
First reserve but has seen plenty of money in the markets, with Pat Fenlon’s runner finishing second in a Maiden point race at Moig South (3m, heavy). Plenty of potential and potential to be involved at the business end of proceedings.
