1: MR ORANGE (1:45pm Pontefract) (4 Votes)
Has won five times over C&D so far and had struggled with performances on return to action after a break, with a twelfth at Redcar (5f, good) and eighth at Hamilton (6f, soft). However a third over C&D on good to firm, last time out showed a return to more regular form, finishing 0.75 lengths adrift. Races off the same mark here and has strong claims today.

2: BREATH OF JOY (2:20pm Pontefract) (4 Votes)
Picked up a couple of seconds last year and finally picked up his maiden victory, when taking the spoils at Haydock (6f, good), when wearing a now retained, first time hood, Backed that up with a second at Chelmsford over 7f and at a higher level, last month. Comes in fresh and with solid hopes in a open contest.

3: CHASE THE DOLLAR (2:40pm Cheseter) (3 Votes)
Frankel colt, who goes in as odds on favourite and backed up the promise of his second at Musselburgh on debut, with victory by a neck, ahead of Pythagoras at Ayr twenty-five days ago. Second and third in that race have gone on to win to also cement that form. Expected to take the victory here.

4: LINCOLN PARK (3:10pm Salisbury) (3 Votes)
Has been running well since returning from a break, with a fourth and second on the all-weather at Newcastle (6f) and Chelmsford (7f) respectively, before a third at Haydock (7f, soft). Latest brought a fifth at Thirsk (7f, good to soft), finishing just 1.5 lengths off the winner. Further softening of ground would be major factor, for a runner that has a first and second in two starts here.

5: ARMORY (3:00pm Curragh) (2 Votes)
Won three in a row last year (good, good to yielding and yielding) and ended with a second at Curragh in September. Returned with a fourth in the Irish 2,000 Guineas, 2.5 lengths behind winner, Siskin, before a fourth in the Gold Cup, 4.75 lengths behind Magical. Justified favourite on that form, with Leo De Fury the main threat.
