1: DOMINO DARLING (3:10pm Yarmouth) (5 Votes)
Won on debut last Autumn at Doncaster (1m, heavy), with the runner-up that day, Gold Wand taking the listed Galtres Stakes recently, while the third won a Group 3 in France to really boost that form. Returned for first start in ten months, when fifth at Newmarket (1m 2f, soft). Will be better for that run, but faces fast ground for the first time. Plenty to come from this filly and will be in the mix at the end.

2: MONTATHAM (3:55pm Sandown) (3 Votes)
Winner of his last two runs, including the latest at York (7f, good), when beating Sir Busker by a neck in a Class 2 heritage handicap. Had also finished second in the Royal Hunt Cup at Ascot (1m, good) back in June, when 1.25 lengths behind Dark Vision. In fine form overall and capable of even more and looks the main threat to narrow favourite, Epic Hero.

3: GINGER JAM (4:35pm Beverley) (3 Votes)
Has won over C&D some five times, including the latest of those a month ago (good to firm), when half a length clear of Line Of Reason in a Class 4. Struggled last time out, when seventeenth and 12.5 lengths adrift in a Class 2 at Doncaster, when hampered at the start, but should bounce back in this return to Class 4 level. This is a tough test, but he is capable of returning to winning ways on a course he clearly enjoys.

4: MANY A STAR (5:20pm Yarmouth) (3 Votes)
Won a Class 4 at Doncaster (6f, good to firm) in July, before stepping up in class and going close in latest couple of outings, with the a third at Pontefract (6f, good to firm) and second at York (6f, good), a neck behind Alben Spirit. Runs off the same mark as that race later today and goes in as unsurprisingly clear favorite to take the spoils.

5: BIT OF A QUIRKE (3:35pm Beverley) (2 Votes)
Last victory came over 1m 2f here back in July of last year and after a drop in form recently, he looks to be improving once again, as shown when third at Pontefract (1m 2f, good to firm), before repeating that result here, over 1m 1f (good to firm) and finishing just 1.5 lengths back from winner, Regal Mirage. Drops down in class this afternoon and is a relatively large price considering. Well worth a each-way venture here.
