1: LOVE ENVOI (2:20pm Sandown) (5 votes)
She comes into this race with a perfect record of four victories in four, including the latest at Lingfield (2m, heavy) in a Class 2 contest, when 2.5 lengths clear of Nurse Susan. Jonathan Burke continues onboard and her reverting back to the longer trip here, she has every chance of making it a five-timer this afternoon, with Harry Fry’s charge the clear favourite.

2: ENFRANCHISE (8:30pm Chelmsford) (3 votes)
Three wins and two places in eight starts, with strong recent form, having followed a second at Lingfield in the Class 2 – Winter Oaks twenty-six days ago, before following up with a win in a Class 4 contest at the same venue, six days later, easing to a 1.25 length victory and seemingly having plenty in hand. Looks to have plenty to come and another win looks on the cards this evening.

3: THE GREY FALCO (1:10pm Sandown) (2 votes)
Winner on his second start, back in November 2020, when scoring in the mud at Chepstow, but struggled to build upon that in five races since, before finally adding to his tally, last time out at Haydock (1m 7f, soft), when 1.75 lengths clear of Minella Charmer, twenty-six days ago. That was his first run after a breathing operation and with a 10lbs claimer onboard here, he can add to that victory here.

4: CAPTAIN TOMMY (2:10pm Leicester) (2 votes)
Three victories in twenty-four starts for this David Bridgwater runner, with the last of those back in May of last year, at Uttoxeter (3m, good). Had decent performances since, including a third at Wincanton (3m 1f, good), when 9 lengths adrift of Butterwick Brook, but has failed to finish in his last two starts, unseating his rider at Cheltenham and being pulled up in a Grade 3 at Warwick. He comes in below his previous winning mark and back down in distance, so can get back to winning ways here.

5: CONTEMPLATEMYFAITH (4:40pm Sandown) (2 votes)
Strong performances in the opening three starts, before grabbing a maiden victory last time out at Bangor (2m 3f, soft), when 4.75 lengths ahead of Barrowdale, who has since gone on to win. That form boost, along with the win puts him in good stead for this contest and is unsurprising favourite here.
