1: JUST FRANK (3:40pm Ayr) (3 votes)
Three wins in twelve starts, including the victory last time out at Thirsk (6f, good), when 2.25 lengths clear of Woven. He clearly has more to do here, but current form suggests he is better than his current pricing (around 10/1) suggests. Has experience at the higher levels, when second in the listed – Doncaster Cup last October and looks extremely capable of being in the mix here, with each-way backers liable to be encouraged by his odds, alongside outright takers.

2: BLACKROD (2:30pm Ayr) (2 votes)
This Michael Dods trained runner is looking for a hattrick, having won a Class 2 Heritage Handicap at Newmarket (6f, good to firm), along with another Class 2 at York (5f, good) in his most recent run, when beating Digital by a neck. A difficult draw is the only concern, as overall, his form puts him head and shoulders above the rest. Strong claims and a hattrick looks likely.

3: ARAMAIC (3:25pm Newbury) (2 votes)
Like the aforementioned Blackrod, Willie Haggas’s charge is another looking for a hattrick, having added to last months easy win at Musselburgh (1m, good), with victory at York (1m 2f, good to firm) last time out, when 3.25 lengths clear of Pivoine, in a first run at Class 3 level. Looks capable of defying a 7lbs rise in this tougher contest, but has so far had more in reserve, when needed. Strong chances here, with King Of Clubs the main threat.

4: DHABAB (4:00pm Newbury) (1 votes)
All three career runs have come on fast ground and has picked up one victory, despite going in as favourite each time. That came on debut at Leicester, back in June, when 2 lengths clear of Sweeping, over 6f. Has since finished sixth at Ascot, in the Coventry, when denied a run, before the latest of third at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) in the Group 2 – Superlative Stakes, when 1.5 lengths behind Native Trail. Drop back to 6f, looks ideal and will be fresh off a ten week break. Strong claims and clear favourite once again.

5: BAGUE D’OR (5:05pm Newbury) (1 votes)
Has looked strong in his last three starts, picking up two wins and a second. The victory last time out, came at Newmarket (1m 4f, good to firm), when beating Saligo Bay by 2.5 lengths. Rise of 5lbs looks within his grasp today and James Doyle rides for the first time. Strong claims Praiano looking the main concern here.
