1: RAJINSKY (2:55pm Haydock) (4 votes)
Four career wins for Tom Dascombe’s runner, including the last of those at Ripon (2m good to firm) in a three runner, Class 2 contest, when beating Notation by a head. Has some disappointing runs over the Summer, before bouncing back with a second last time out at York (2m good, seventeen days ago, when 1.25 lengths behind Arcadian Sun. Drop back to 1m 6f is a little risky, but looks to have useful each-way chances at least.

2: WAHRAAN (3:10pm Ascot) (3 votes)
Sealed a double at Newmarket (1m 2f, good to firm) on his penultimate start, when 5.5 lengths clear of Big Kitten in a small field contest in July. Placed fifth of fifteen at York (1m 2f, good) in latest, a Class 2 contest, finishing 2 lengths off the winner, Migration. Had some trouble in that contest and if able to avoid issues here, should justify strong favouritism. Bred with today’s 1m 4f in mind.

3: LORD GLITTERS (1:45pm Haydock) (2 votes)
Last victory came at Meydan back in February, when winning a Group 1 contest by half a length to Eqtiraan. Has since placed 442 in runs back in the U.K, with the latest at York (1m, good), when 1.5 lengths behind Strensall in the Group 3 – Strensall Stakes and with a 7lbs penalty. That is removed today and he should go very close today, with My Oberon and Maydanny the main threats.

4: DOCUMENTING (3:45pm Ascot) (2 votes)
Winner on three occasions last year, including a Class 2 at Lingfield (7f, a/w) back in October. Struggled in a couple of runs over the Summer, but returned to better form in latest at Doncaster (7f, good to firm), when third and 0.75 lengths behind Motawaajed. Looks ready to continue that progress today and looks worthy of the each-way interest on the markets.

5: MONDAMMEJ (4:05pm Haydock) (2 votes)
Without a win in eight starts, but has picked up a few useful runs since, including a third at Ascot (5f, good), when half a length behind Significantly in July. Looks capable of winning off today’ mark, but may just fall short.
