1: THREEUNDERTHRUFIVE (2:25pm Musselburgh) (4 votes)
Winner of a heavy ground bumper race at Chepstow a year ago and has won both hurdle starts so far, with the latest at Ludlow back in November, when beating odds on favourite Valleres by 5.5 lengths in a four runner contest. Has tended to finish well in those races, so the extended 3m shouldn’t be a problem.

2: QUILIXIOS (1:40pm Leopardstown) (3 Votes)
Three wins from three starts, with the first of those over in France, before switching to Gordon Elliott’s yard. Latter two wins came last October, at Punchestown (2m, yielding) and then at Down Royal when a huge odds on favourite and winning by 20 lengths (2m, yielding). Goes in as clear favourite, but minor concern over the lack of runs since that victory.

3: FARCLAS (4:10pm Leopardstown) (3 votes)
Triumph Hurdle winner back in 2018 and managed to secure a treble in 2019, with a win at Roscommon (2m, good) over fence, but has raced just twice since then, returning from a seventeen month break to finish fifth at Punchestown (2m 3f, soft to heavy) in November and then third at Leopardstown (3m, yielding) in December, when 10 lengths adrift. Skipped the Thyestes for this contest, so must have strong chances.

4: BULLION BOSS (4:25pm Musselburgh) (3 votes)
In strong form at this track in recent races, finishing second over 2m 7f (good) in November, before picking up the victory on New Year’s Day (2m 7f, soft), 2 lengths ahead of Arnica. Placed second here sixteen days ago, when 1.75 lengths behind Broadway Joe. Extended trip will suit, but was a little slow over some obstacles last time out, so needs to sharpen up in that regard, but otherwise strong claims here.

5: APPRECIATE IT (2:10pm Leopardstown) (2 votes)
Four wins and two places in six starts and comes in looking for a treble, having secures a second consecutive win over C&D (2m, soft) in the Future Champions Hurdle last month. Goes in as huge favourite, with the field some 10/1 bar and it would be a huge surprise to not see hm in the winners circle later today.
