Newspaper tipsThere are five meetings across Friday, with three of those coming from Al-Weather venues, as we continue with the inclement conditions. Much of the focus is at Wolverhampton this evening , featuring four of our five top newspaper selections, with Fakenham providing the remaining pick.

Check out that trio, in our top five most popular selections below.

1: Chasing Dreams 5:55pm Wolverhampton (3 Votes)

Short priced favourite here and was majestic on debut, when beating subsequent Cornwallis Stakes winner, Good Vibes in April at Newmarket. Six pounds heavier here, but should be too strong for the chasing pack.

(Glasgow Evening Times, Jeffrey Ross. Racing Post, Newmarket. Yorkshire Evening Post, Lee Sobot)

2: Dogon 4:35pm Fakenham (2 Votes)

A French chase horse, who has run three times in the UK, with a best of second in a Novice at Wincanton back in February. Pulled up in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham and is returning after a wind op in April. A four runner contest will help too and he looks the main threat to the favourite.

(Cambridge Evening News, PicksFromThePaddock. Gloucestershire Echo, Melissa Jones)

3: Power Link 6:25pm Wolverhampton (2 Votes)

Has returned to the UK after a spell of races at Meydan, picking up an impressive win at Kempton by three lengths in August and following that with a second over course and distance last time out, a fortnight ago. A minor weight advantage over his nearest rivals will only help.

(Daily Mail, Robin Goodfellow. The i, Jon Freeman)

4: Last Surprise 6:55pm Wolverhampton (2 Votes)

Just five career starts in, but it is clear to see that the All-weather is the way forward having won both starts on that surface, including last time out at Chelmsford in a Class 4 novices. Can only improve and has a great opportunity here, all pace could be an issue, with no real frontrunners to speak of.

(The Star. The Sun On Sunday, Sirius)

5: Tempus 7:55pm Wolverhampton (2 Votes)

Two wins and a second in three career starts offer plenty of encouragement for punters, as does a win over course and distance back in May, with the follow up, won on heavy ground at Haydock. Comes in seven pounds lighter than that last run also.

(Sheffield Star, Fortunatus. Yorkshire Post, The Duke)
