Today’s top selections from the press and media feature four selections from Kempton, including a pair battling in the Betway Chase, along with a single runner at Lingfield. So check out the top five most popular newspaper tips below, along with the best odds available.
1: SONG FOR SOMEONE (2:25pm Kempton) (4 Votes)
Won a Clas 3 handicap at Fontwell in November and has stepped up well in Class 1 company, finishing third at Sandown in December (1m 7f) and then second at Ascot last month over 2m 3f and both in heavy conditions. Can improve further and looks well placed to go well among Grade 2 company today.

2: FUJIMOTO FLYER (1:50pm Kempton) (3 Votes)
Never really did enough on the flat, but looked at home over hurdles from the start, with wins at Killarney and Auteuil in which he beat a subsequent Grade 2 winner. Holds all the aces it would seem, with Solo looking the only real threat to a potential victory.

3: ADRIEN DU PONT (3:35pm Kempton) (3 Votes)
This previous course and distance runner has been a little off form since returning to seasonal action, having been pulled up at Ascot back in November and then picking up a fourth at the same venue a month later over 2m 5f. An improvement is likely and he is 6lbs better off than when third in this race last year.

4: BLACK CORTON (3:35pm Kempton) (3 Votes)
Won the Grade 2 Oaksey Chase back in April, but has been the bridesmaid on several occasions since, including the Galway Plate last Summer and the Many Clouds Chase at Aintree back in December. Finished fourth last time out at Ascot in a listed handicap and can go close here today, while a 2lb drop will be very welcome too.

5: ALMUFTI (3:50pm Lingfield) (2 Votes)
Clearly enjoys Lingfield, having won a Class 4 over course and distance in December and winning once more over C&D in a Class 2 contest a fortnight ago when showing a good turn of foot. Split those wins, with a poor fifth (of six) at Chelmsford, but looks to be no more than a blip in form. Rises 4lbs for today’s trip but still looks head and shoulders above the rest.
