The opening race is a Class 4 Hurdle over two miles and two, with Working Class the GG choice. Some strong form recently, saw a win at Fontwell, followed by a second at Warwick and prefers this sort of ground, having placed in four of eight runs on good going.
Next up is a Novice Hurdle over 2m 2f, with just nine entries. Hang In There is the GG pick for this one and strong odds on favourite too. An excellent second at Fairyhouse in their last run back in April, showed plenty of promise, with more of the same expected.
Mantovani offers the only real threat according to the markets, although they may need another run, following on from a return to action after a nine month layoff.
Race three is a two mile and three furlong Chase, with ten entries. The GG choice here is Field Exhibition, who earned a month off, after a run of 1st, 4th and 2nd in eleven days back in August. They have won at Class 3 level previously, at Musselburgh in February and have a good chance in an open race.
The fourth race is a two mile and five hurdle, with a dozen runners. Nifty At Fifty is the GG choice here, with the RPR leader finishing second at Southwell last time out, losing by a head.
The penultimate race is a two mile hurdle, with OR leader Verbitude, the GG selection for a race with no real standout competitors. Some solid performances at the higher level, give them a strong chance here in this Class 5 outing, with a fourth at Hereford last time out.
RPR leader Never A Word looks to one to potentially beat here, having finished second in their last two starts, while Veiled Secret will be hoping to carry on from the end of last season, when they won at Taunton back in April.
The final leg is another two mile race, with nine runners this time and joint RPR leader, Vexillum is the selection from our GG team, with the Neil Mulholland trained runner looking to kick on after three successive third place finishes, including last time out at Worcester. A decent weight advantage could swing it their way here.
