Race 1 (1:40pm) ALIOSKI
Modest record on the flat, but has so far proven to be a useful hurdler, improving in all three runs and placing second in his latest, here over C&D on good ground, back in September. A return to the flat after a seven month break, will have helped with sharpness here and there is little reason to suggest he cannot get right involved, now back over timber once more.
Race 2 (2:15pm) SALAMANCA SCHOOL
Two of this three career victories have come in the last five starts, with Warren Greatrex’s charge in good form overall, having followed up a fourth on return from an extended break, to take the win here, over C&D three weeks ago, when easing to a 14 length margin, ahead of Vinnie’s Getaway. Takes a 7lbs rise for this contest, but should be able to take that in his stride and challenge once more.
Race 3 (2:50pm) THE TIN MINER
This Chris Gordon runner is a three time winner, who has shown plenty of consistecy throughout his career. In three starts this year, he has placed 3rd, 4th and 2nd, with the latest seeing them just a nose behind Blame The Game, once again over C&D three weeks ago. Off the same mark and with Tom Cannon onboard has strong claims here.
Race 4 (3:25pm) SLATE HOUSE
Seven time winner and comes in off the back of a double at Kempton (both 2m 2f, good), winning by 9.5 lengths to Rockstar Ronnie in a Class 3 event last monhth, before repeating the feat in a Class 2, just six days ago, beating Diego Du Charmil by 6 lengths. Hat-trick looks almost inevitable here.
Race 5 (4:00pm) SAINTE DOCTOR
This Neil Mulholland trained runner, is another who comes in off the back of a double, having followed up a win at Uttoxeter (2m 4f, good to soft), with a victory over C&D last month, finishing 5.5 lengths ahead of Puffin Bay. These wins have come after a breathing operation and despite a 7lbs rise for this contest, another bold bid is very likely as she looks for a treble.
Race 6 (4:30pm) KOLISI
Had just one win in eleven starts, but has transformed since a win op, winning all three starts since, including the latest at Exeter (2m 2f, good) to score the hat-trick, 3 lengths clear of Exmoor Express. He looked to have more in reserve if needed and a quick fire return and four-timer is very much on the cards.
