Race 1 (12:30pm) CRACK REGIMENT
All barring one of ten starts for Henry Spiller have been in France, including a handicap win at Compiegne (1m 2f, good to soft) in September. Placed sixth in the UK at Kempton (7f, a.w) back in June of last year, when just 2.5 lengths adrift of the winner that day. May find the 1m trip a little on the sharp side today, but still should feature with his abilities.
Race 2 (1:00pm) GLENTANEOUS
Strong start to career, following a debut second at Kempton (1m, a.w), with a victory over C&D, when 1.75 lengths clear of Bringsty in February. Comes in under penalty which will be a tough ask, but should still have some improvement to come. Every chance for the spoils.
Race 3 (1:30pm) REBEL TERRITORY
Two runs so far, finishing eighth on debut at Kempton in March, before improving to a 100/1 third over C&D sixteen days later, when 2.25 lengths adrift of winner, Mohaafeth, who has since gone on to win in listed company at Newmarket. More of that last performance will give Rebel Territory a major chance here, with Beau Jardine the main threat.
Race 4 (2:00pm) ENGLISHMAN
Eleven wins in seventy-eight starts for this 11-yo, with the last of those back in June of last year at Newmarket (6f, good). Recent runs have not been great, but a sixth on seasonal / yard debut at Wolverhampton (6f, a/w) a fortnight ago, saw him 4 lengths behind race rival Creek Harbour, with more to come, thanks to the extra fitness,
Race 5 (2:30pm) SWISS PRIDE
Three wins in the last four races and comes in looking for a course and distance treble, having sealed a second successive victory here a fortnight ago, when a length clear of Benefit Street. Has an excellent record at this track, finishing outside the first three only once in eleven visits and even with a 4lbs rise, looks the one to beat.
Race 6 (3:05pm) MISTER BLUEBIRD
Picked up a maiden win on his last start (fifth career run), when beating Lucky Ava by half a length at Windsor (5f, good) three weeks ago, which was also a first run since being gelded and a first in cheekpieces which are retained. Rises 4lbs but expected to be in the mix, off the back of that form.
