Race 1 (2:45pm) TAKE MY HAND

Lively runner, who finished behind race rival Sin E Shekelis at Leopardstown in a mile handicap on good ground, nine days ago, before a quick turnaround, when finishing second at Gowran Park (7f) two days after. Has placed twice over this trip and jockey Gary Carroll, has won once and placed twice in six rides here. In good form overall and should be in the hunt for places at least.

Race 2 (3:15pm) FOURHOMETWO

Made an impressive start to his career, when pushing long odds on favourite, Southern Cape at Gowran Park to withinn 0.5 lengths (7f (soft to heavy). Expect to see more off the back of that performance and it would not be a surprise to see them feature for the win. Shane Kelly claims 3lbs once again.

Race 3 (3:50pm) MULZAMM

After a couple of fourth placed finishes at Dundalk and Limerick, he played a blinder to take the spoils here on Tuesday, over a mile, moving between two runners in the final furlong and winning by half a length (Yielding). He does have a 6lbs rise here, which will make things more difficult, but should be suited to this 7f trip.

Alternative Selection: EASTERN RACER

Race 4 (4:20pm) NJORD

Won his last two runs at the end of last season, including here, over a mile back in October, on soft to heavy. Returned from a long break, with a fourteenth at Curragh, where he looked to need the run for fitness and looked much more like his regular self, when winning back there sixteen days ago. Raced on Tuesday, when missing out by a nose to Saltonstall over a mile, but a return to 7f should suit moreso.

Alternative Selection: BIG BABY BLUE

Race 5 (4:50pm) STARLIGHT DREAM

Debuted seventh at Curragh last month, over a mile and looked to benefit from the extension to 1m 2f, when third at Down Royal nine days ago, staying on well. A further extension to 1m 4f looks extremely likely to suit even more here and no surprise to run well here.

Race 6 (5:20pm) TANDEM

Steadily improved his results since returning with a fourth placed finish at Gowran Park (1m 1f, good). At the beginning of last month, the extended 1m 4f looked to benefit when third and just 1.75 lengths behind the winner at Cork (1m 4f, good), before his latest, when taking the victory at Leopardstown, also over 1m 4f and on good ground, three weeks ago. Appeared over 2m previously, so this 1m 6f won’t be an issue and should be in the hunt based on recent performances.
