Race 1 (1:50pm) SISKANY

Charlie Appleby colt, who has three wins in five starts so far, including the last of those at Sandown (1m 1f, soft), when 3.25 lengths clear of Something Enticing. Placed a good fourth of seventeen at Royal Ascot last month, in the King George V Stakes, with race rival, Nagano in sixth. Strong chances here and stays the 1m 4f trip.

Race 2 (2:25pm) BOUNCE THE BLUES

Both career wins came over in Ireland, with the last of those a listed contest at Naas (7f, soft) back in August, when half a length clear of Soul Search. Has placed in three of the five starts since switching to Andrew Balding’s yard including a second in a Group 3 contest at Lingfield (7f, soft) in May, missing out by 0.75 lengths to Axana. Strong efforts overall, over the 7f trip and every chance

Race 3 (3:00pm) FEARBY

Debuted fourth at Newcastle, before following on with successive victories, firstly at Wetherby (5f, good to firm) in a maiden last month, before repeating the feat at Sandown (5f, soft) in the listed Dragon Stakes, impressing with a 5 length win, ahead of Mojomaker. Leading claims on that form.

Race 4 3:35pm) **(POETIC FLARE**

Has five victories so far in eight career rjuns, including the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) in May and the St.James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot (7f, good to firm) last time out, when cruising to a 4.25 length win, ahead of Lucky Vega. Finds softer ground a little more challenging, as seen in defeats for the French Guineas (1m, very soft) and Irish Guineas (1m, soft to heavy), although the shorthead defeat in the latter race, argues against that somewhat. Leading contender this afternoon

Race 5 (4:10pm) ANADORA

Winner in a Class 4 contest at Newcastle (5f, a/w) on debut, when beating Alaskan Duel by a head. That was followed by a third at Newmarket, in May, when 6.25 lengths adrift of the winner that day. Was pushed up to Group 3 level in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot last month, finishing a creditable seventh of fifteen in a very tough ask for this Kevin Ryan runner. Drop in level should aide their chances today and should be in contention.

Race 6 (4:45pm) ACHELOIS

Two wins in the last three starts, including last time out at Ascot (1m, good) eighteen days ago, when 2.75 lengths clear of Arafi. Up an extra 6lbs today, but the extra 2f this afternoon should play into her hands here. Strong claims and another win, would not be a big surprise.
