Race 1 (1:15pm) DOUBLING DICE

Two wins in five, including the sealing of a double over{C&D](https://gg.co.uk/racing/26-sep-2020/haydock-park-1615) (good) back in September, when half a length clear of Grinling. That was followed in October, by a fourteenth in a hotly contested Old Rowley Cup at Newmarket. Has since had wind surgery and will be in the mix, assuming fitness isn’t an issue.

Race 2 (1:45pm) BIELSA

Four wins in twelve starts, although the last of those was back in October 2018 at Doncaster in a Class 2 contest. Looked kean on return to action, after a six month break, placing second at Ayr (6f, good to firm), 2.5 lengths behind Commanche Falls last month, before a fifth at York last time out in a tough Class 2 contest. Drops back a level and should go close. Capable on soft and heavy ground too.

Race 3 (2:20pm) KING’S LYNN

Only a single victory so far for this talented runner, but he has placed five times, including in latest at Chester (5f, good to soft), when 0.75 lengths behind El Astonaute, who opposes once again. Comes in 3lbs worse off than his rival today, but acts on soft ground and has more to come. Capable of winning more and could grab revenge for that last defeat.

Only win came on second start at Kempton, back in 2019, but showed some promise when third of four in a listed contest at Goodwood (1m 3f, good to firm) last month, on return for seasonal debut, just 1.25 lengths behind the winner, Alpinista. Should build upon that today and comes into this contest after being declared a non-runner due to soft ground.

Race 5 (3:30pm) WITH THANKS

A trio of victories and two places in five starts so far, including the latest victory at Naas (7f, heavy) in the Group 3 – Athasi Stakes, when an impressive 5 lengths clear of nearest rival, Silk Forest back in November. Rise of 3lbs looks well within her grasp and she should go close, assuming conditions don’t dry out. Huge chances and well fancied by many.

Race 6 (4:05pm) MO CELITA

In superb form, having won the last four races, including last time out over C&D (heavy) on handicap debut a week ago, when 2 lengths clear of Glinbury. Rise of 7lbs and a tougher contest make this a more difficult assignment, but difficult to go against current form. Laura Coughlin continues onboard and claims 5lbs.
