Race 1 (1:00pm) QITAAL

Mark Johnston runner who has so far acquitted themselves well in two career starts so far, placing third on debut at Haydock (7f, good to firm) at the beginning of last month, before another third at Hamilton (1m, soft) last time out, when 5.5 lengths behind Shavara, despite being the favourite, although softer ground was far form ideal. Expected to be in the mix once again, with more to come.

Race 2 (1:30pm) BATTANI

A solid fourth of eight on debut at Haydock, with Ian WIlliams’s runner some 6.25 lengths behind even money favourite, Educator some eighteen days ago. Softer conditions may be more favourable here and he should build upon that performance in this contest.

Race 3 (2:05pm) VOODOO QUEEN

Roger Varian debutant, who is a Frankel filly, out of Moyglare winner, Cursory Glance. That pedigree alone should put here in very good stead here. She is a half-sister to 7f-1m winner, Tinker Toy and should be in the hunt for the spoils in this contest.

Race 4 (2:40pm) BAZALGETTE

Four race maiden for Mick Channon and showed plenty of improvement last time out, when second at Ripon seventeen days ago, when 0.75 lengths behind Young Winston, with the pair a further 5 lengths clear of the rest. That form should continue here, even with the 5lbs rise and another close call is expected.

Race 5 (3:15pm) LEGENDARY DAY

Two wins and three places in eight starts so far, picking up a double at Leicester (1m, good to firm) back in June. Has found it tougher since stepping up a level, but the extended trip should help this time around. Returns from a short break and will be hoping to replicate the only previous visit here, when taking victory.

Race 6 (3:50pm) HELVETIQUE

Picked up a win on her second start, when taking the spoils at Chepstow (6f, good to firm) back in July, beating Baileysgutfeeling by 0.75 lengths. Placed second at Nottingham the following month, before a finding a Class 2 contest at Goodwood a little too hot. Drop in trip and first time headgear are notable changes, which could aide their chances.
