Race 1 (2:20pm) INSTINCTIVE MOVE

Looked very impressive, when taking the spoils on debut at Bath back in May, when beating Poderoso by 2.25 lengths, especially when initially struggling with the pace of the race. Fourth in that race has since gone on to win. Was withdrawn from the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot. Big claims here, but faces a tough opposition in Kaboo.

Race 2 (2:55pm) WITHHOLD

Seven wins in twenty-two starts, with the last of those at Newmarket l(1m 6f, good to firm) ast August, when 3 lengths clear of Dubious Affair. Has since placed second in the listed Rose Bowl Stakes at the same venue and looks more than capable of holding his own here today/

Race 3 [3:30pm) GAIUS

Second on debut at Windsor (6f, good) back in May, before stepping up in level and placing third at Newbury (6f, good to firm) in latest, 2.75 lengths behind winner, Great Max. Bred to appreciate this distance and has strong claims

Race 4 (5:05pm) JOHN LEEPER

Winner of a listed race at Newmarket (1m 2f, good) back in May, when 1.75 lengths clear of Tasman Bay, who has since finishing second in a Group 2 contest Disappointed in the Derby last time out, finishing ninth and struggling to settle in general during the race. Return to listed level should help here, but needs to step up from that last outing.

Race 5 (4:10pm) CLASSIC LORD

Three wins in seven start so far, with a victory in his penultimate start at Haydock (1m 3f, heavy), beating Mystical Dawn by 0.75 lengths. Followed up with a second at Chester (1m 4,f good to firm) in a Class 2 contest, nineteen days ago and looks to have plenty to come still. Big favourite and expected to show that form today.

Race 6 (5:10pm) TRANSITION

Two career wins came some 16 months ago and has since struggled to really feature, with a seventh last time out at Brighton (6f, good) indicative of his form, when 4.75 lengths adrift of the winner. Visor previously worn is removed and there has been plenty of money in the market too.
