Race 1 (1:45pm) LINCOLN DREAM

Finished third of three at Haydock (5f, soft) fifteen days ago, but only finished 3.25 lengths adrift of the winner and just 2.75 lengths behind race rival Jadhlaan. Big opportunity for improvement, if able to settle better and should feature.

Race 2 (2:20pm) SANDRET

Three career wins, but currently on a run of nine races since, without success. Looked good on return to action, eleven days ago at Redcar (1m 2f, good), when 2 lengths adrift of the winner, Cockalorum. Can build on that here, especially on good to firm conditions and has strong chances this afternoon

Race 3 (2:55pm) CHARLIE DE RIO

Debuted second at Curragh (5f, good) back in April, with that being his best run so far. Has since finished 646 and now moves from Denis Hogan’s yard to make his debut for Adrian Nicholls, who won this race in 2019. Needs to show a little more today, while Adam Farragher’s 5lbs claim will no doubt help.

Race 4 (3:30pm) GALE FORCE MAYA

Winner in penultimate start at Doncaster (7f, good to firm), when 3.25 lengths clear of Angel Of The Glen, before the opposition a little too strong in a listed contest at Musselburgh. Drop in level today should see a much stronger run and she goes in as favourite.

Race 5 (4:00pm) SPACE TRAVELLER

Last win came at Leopardstown back in September 2019, in the Group 2 – Boomerang Stakes. Had a creditable effort in the Queen Anne Stake at Ascot last year in only start and returned to action after a nine month break, when tenth in the Doncaster mIle a fortnight ago. Will be better for that run and likely to feature today.

Race 6 (4:35pm) SHAWAAMEKH

Without a win since sealing a double at Thirsk back in August 2019, but looked to be trending back to better form, when fourth at Chester (7f, good to soft) last month, in a first start since wind surgery. That optimism was dealt a blow, when seventh over C&D last time out. Prefers slower ground, but some money overnight puts him on this list. Tentative each-way backing looks the way forward.
