The opening race is a mile long trip, as eleven runners take on this class two outing. The GG selection is Kynren, who goes in as favourite and leads the OR, RPR and TS ratings in the field. Runner up spots in the Lincoln at Doncaster and Victoria Cup at Ascot show their class and this looks to be a great chance to finally bag a class two win here.
The next race is the first of a pair of twenty-plus runner fields, as twenty-four charge down the six furlongs in this class two outing. The GG pick for this is Alkaraama, this continually improving favourite, won at Chelmsford recently and then following up with an impressive second in the Fever-Tree at Ascot.
Race three, is the Mill Reef Stakes, with just eight runners taking on this Group 2 race over six furlongs, Mystery Power is the GG choice her. After a debut, class four win, they then moved up to win the Superlative Stakes at Newmarket, before a sixth place in the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood. A six week break will only help and they have a great chance of usurping the favourite.
That favourite is the Roger Varian runner, Pierre Lapin, who in their single outing so far, bagged a class four win at Haydock by three and a half lengths and looks very impressive. Malotru is also a threat here, with the fourth in Gimcrack only likely to improve.

The fourth race is a Group 3 race over six furlongs, with ten participants. Orlaith is the GG pick and also goes in as joint favourite too, with Iain Jardine hoping his charge can continue on from the excellent Byerley Stud Stakes win at Newbury last month.
The other joint favourite is Lambeth Walk , who finished fourth in the Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes, before following up with a second at Ripon last time out in a class one outing. Piece of Paradise leads the remainder of the field in the market and did win the Harry Rosebery Stakes at the venue last time out over the shorter five furlongs, so could be the fly in the ointment for the favourites.
For the penultimate race, we have a class two contest, over a mile and a quarter. Forest Of Dean goes in as clear favourite here and is also the GG choice too, thanks to successive victories at Goodwood and York at this level, with a third expected for this John Gosden runner.
The final leg of the day’s Scoop 6 is the Group 2 Ayr Gold Cup, with twenty-five runners bombing down this six furlong course. Summerghand is the GG selection here, with the outside challenger picking up six places in eleven class starts, including the Great St.Wilfrid last time out at Ripon.
