2:10pm Market Rasen

The opening race of the Tote Scoop6 looks to be a two way fight between favourite Longhouse Sale and St Gallen.

Longhouse Sale has an immaculate record of six wins from six starts, with plenty expected once again of the five year old. *St Gallen is no slouch either, winning the last two starts and crucially at a higher level too and narrow leads on the RPR. Outside of those two, Chef De Troupe** looks the only potential spoiler, while the rest are 11/1 bar.

2:25pm Newbury

This two mile race, features sixteen runners and it looks a tough one to crack for punters, with four runners standing out in the market, with several multiple winners, looking to continue those streaks

Proschema will be looking to improve on successive thirds, while The Grand Visir will look to continue their form, having won at [Ascot] last time out. Carnwennan looks a major challenger here, having followed a pair of victories, with a third success on the bounce at Newcastle in a class two last month. GG pick and OR leader, Withhold is another who has bagged wins recently, with successes at Newmarket and Newcastle and hopes to make it three in a row here.

Expect a cracking race and a few losing tickets in the Scoop 6!

GG Selection - WITHHOLD

2:40pm Newmarket

Next up is a mile and a half trip, that may well give punters a breather, with Sparkle Roll the clear favourite in this twelve runner race. After early career wins, the jump to class one has been challenging, however an excellent third in the Ribblesdale Stakes last time out, shows her class.

The rest of the field will have their work cut out to bag the victory, with Kesia and Blue Gardenia arguably the best of the rest.

3:00pm Newbury

The second half of the Tote Scoop6 features the smallest field, as ten take on this six furlong sprint. Like the previous race, this looks to be a straight forward selection for many, with The Tin Man head and shoulders ahead in the market.

Six class one victories cement the favourites status, although the last couple of runs have been a little below expectation, including a sixth in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Ascot last time out, although the quality of field here, is not so high.

Donjuan Triumphant and Snazzy Jazzy both looks the most likely to challenge the favourite here, with both attracting some market interest.

GG Selection - THE TIN MAN

3:20pm Market Rasen

The penultimate leg is a two mile and five furlong race, featuring fourteen runners. Three of those have edged clear, in what is otherwise a close market. Gortroe Joe is the favourite and comes into the race off the back of a win over course and distance, although the win or bust form of two wins, pulled up and a fall do raise questions.

Behind the leader, Casablanca Mix also won last time out at Aintree and has experience of mixing it at this level too. GG selection Pacific De Baune is arguably in the best form of the trio, with a second place, followed by a win at Newton Abbot last time out.

Other mentions must go to More Buck’s and Darcy Ward who both look in with a chance if they can hit top form.

3:40pm Newbury

The final leg of the Tote Scoop6 features just the twenty-four runners! As they take on this five furlong cavalry charge.

Despite the large field, this has a very clear favourite in Ventura Rebel who is around 11/8 and leads the field in both OR and RPR too. Having won at this level previously, the favourite followed up with a second in the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes last time out.

The biggest threat, if any comes from 9/2 shot Never In Paris, but despite winning their only start in a class five at Nottingham with a bit to spare, expecting a step-up like this is a little fanciful. The rest are around 8/1 bar.

Along with their Best Odds Guarantee promise, and extra enhancements such as their One Winner and All Correct bonuses on multiples, Totesport** is the place for all your Royal Ascot and racing needs!
