Andrew-Mount-Trend HorsesNick Williams has only had three runners in the 32Red Lanzarote Hurdle before and all three won, including Tea For Two who went on to score in Grade 1 company.

He has two big-priced runners in this year’s renewal (Kempton 2.40) and the one I like is DENTLEY DE MEE. The five-year-old is the choice of stable jockey Lizzie Kelly and was only just touched off by Galactic Power when stepped up to this 2m5f trip at Ludlow last time, a run franked when the winner placed off a 12lb higher mark this week. HIs full record right-handed stands at: 1512 (2-4), with the unplaced effort by just three lengths when probably unsuited by the stiff uphill finish at Towcester. The trainer’s three previous Lanzarote winners had all enjoyed success on right-handed tracks before and Dentley De Mee looks over-priced at around the 25-1 mark.

With Jeremy Scott in such good form it could be worth chancing newcomer BUILDING FUTURES in the Warwick bumper (4.05). Scott has had four winners from 13 runners in the past fortnight and his first-time out bumper runners in recent seasons are six from 51 (12% strike-rate) for a profit of £635.00 to a £10 level stake at SP. More importantly, the five-year-old’s sire Kalanisi has a great record in bumpers on soft or heavy going, with 25 winners from 174 runners (14.4% strike-rate) for a profit of £886.30 to a tenner at SP.
