The opening race is a six furlong sprint, hosting fourteen runners in a class two outing. Leading the betting is Graceful Magic who won in a dead heat at Newmarket a month ago and has since followed with a second at Goodwood nine days ago.

GG pick, Stylistique is the OR leader of the field and second favourite, impressing with a fourth in a class one outing at Goodwood last time out. Company Minx, a winner and runner-up finisher in their last two trips, along with Galadriel a winner last time out at a lower level, are also worthy of note here.

The next race is the longest of today’s six, as a field of eight runners take on this mile and six furlong trip at Group Two level. Enbihaar is the strong favourite across the markets, having won three of the last four outings, including the Lillie Langtry at Goodwood and Lancashire Oaks at Haydock, while a month off will only do the horse good.

Dame Malliot is the only credible challenger among the rest of the field, with the winner of the Aphrodite Stakes at Newmarket returning after a slightly longer break than the favourite.

The rest are 8/1 bar and look unlikely to cause any issues for the leading runners here.

GG Selection – ENBIHAAR

For race three, we have the largest field, as twenty runners will charge down this six furlong sprint, in the big race of the day. Harpocrates and Glasvegas are the market leaders joint RPR leaders too, with Harpocrates coming close in the Caravaggio Stakes at Tipperary and Acomb Stakes at York, finishing second each time. After winning a class four at Hamilton back in May, Glasvegas got a sterner test in the WIndsor Castle Stakes at Ascot and finished an excellent third among class one company to really put themselves on the map.

Behind those two, GG pickRepartee will be looking to continue their excellent start to their career, having already won on debut in a class win at York back in May and more recently finishing third in the Group Two, Gimcrack Stakes at the same venue. Unforgetable is another in the fight for victory and has won once in three career starts at Fairyhouse

GG Selection – REPARTEE

The second half of this Jackpot, begins with another Group Two outing, as nine runners take on this mile journey. Cloak Of Spirits goes in as the strong favourite, thanks to a debut win at Ascot back in July and looks to have plenty to come in the future.

Behind the favourite, the GG selection West End Girl leads the rest and comes in off a victory in the Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket last time out, which was a second victory in three career starts. Powerful Breeze has seen plenty of money this morning and has shortened from nines to sixes. They won on debut at Newmarket last time out in impressive style, while both Boomer and Passion are runners that are difficult to ignore, in what is a tough contest.

GG Selection – WEST END GIRL

For the penultimate race, we have another six furlong race, as seventeen take on this class three outing for pro-am lady riders. The GG choice and favourite is Drummond Warrior, who after a couple of class five victores, finished third in a class three outing last time out at Newmarket.

Behind the favourite, there are around a half dozen with good chances in this race, including Normandy Barriere, The Armed Man among the main threats and Hart Stopper also, who was a recent winner at Yarmouth in July. However if the favourite can continue their improvement, they will be very hard to beat here.

The final leg of the days Jackpot is a mile and a quarter trip, as eight runners take on this class two event. This a straight fight between joint favourites Good Birthday and Davydenko who is also the GG pick here.

Good Birthday has seen a solid rise through the rankings over the year and picked up a solid class two victory, last time out at Beverley. Davydenko has also enjoyed a meteoric rise, in a shorter span of races too and picked up a class two victory at Newmarket in their last outing.

There is little to choose between the leading two, with both sharing top status in the OR ratings, with a solitary point in the RPR between them also. This is as close to a coin toss as you’ll ever see, giving punters a difficult choice for their final and potentially winning selection in todays Jackpot.

GG Selection – DAVYDENKO
