image-left-align Golf-Generic-BlogThe FedEx Play-Offs resume after the Labor Day break, with the BMW Championship at the Conway Farms Golf Club in Illinois. This is the penultimate event of the play-off season, with the field whittled down to seventy players and just thirty moving on to the final event in Atlanta.

Below are four selections for the event to look out for, with all pricing from our good friends at Skybet.

OUTRIGHT

It’s difficult to ignore Jordan Spieth here, with the current FedEx leader’s consistency, beyond question. Two victories and two runner-up places sandwich a thirteenth and twenty-eighth place, but a player like Spieth will be chomping at the bit, after missing out on those last two wins, so expect a strong performance yet again, with the 6/1 available, looking very good indeed.

TOP FIVE FINISH

Justin Thomas is arguably the only player, whose form matches Spieth, having won two of the last three events played, with those sandwiching a sixth place. The PGA Championship winner has seen his self belief improve hundred fold since that Major win and he should be hot on the heels of Spieth this week. 5/2 for a top five finish, looks excellent value.

TOP TEN FINISH

There are two picks for a top ten finish, with Justin Rose the first selection at 11/4. Rose has until now had a poor season by his incredibly high standards, but two consecutive top ten finishes have just reignited that competitive spark in the Englishman, who enjoys the FedEx play-off format.

The second choice comes in the form of Matt Kuchar, who at 3/1, looks a little long for a top ten finish. “Kooch” has been very consistent over the last few months, with some eleven top 20 finishes in his last fifteen tournaments. He has arguably deserved a little more luck than he has had so far and this could be the time, he fires himself into the top ten of an event.
