stat of the day-2After nailing two winners in the column on Wednesday, including a 10/1SP winner, we take another dip into the statistical goodie bag and have four more horses to pay close attention to on Thursday...

MOLLS MEMORY (3.00 Haydock)

Trainer Ed Walker boasts a 28% strike rate, yielding a +£21.80 profit when sending horses to Haydock over this course and distance in recent seasons.

Molls Memory fluffed her lines in a searingly hot handicap at Windsor last time out, but she remains competitively handicapped and can be forgiven for that modest run.

Her two wins before that suggest she remains nicely perched off a mark of 83 and although this is a tidy Class 3 contest, she is the one to beat.

YIMOU (4.20 Yarmouth)

Dean Ivory has a 23% hit rate in the past 28 days recording a +£27 profit to level stakes from his six winners in that time. Additionally, jockey Martin Dwyer has produced a level stakes profit over +£45.60 when backing his rides over this course and distance in recent seasons.

Yimou arrives in dangerous form on the back of clocking a good time in victory last month and this 4yo gelding looks set to go close again in this six furlong handicap.

DONNACHIES GIRL (7.35 Newcastle)

Whatever it is about last time out winners, apprentice Rowan Scott seems to get a good tune out of horses in form. He has ridden 19 winners from 86 ride aboard last time out winners, a 22% strike rate which would’ve returned a cool +£23.67 profit to level stakes.

In this 1m4f fillies’ handicap, Rowan Scott rides the only last time out winner in the line up! Donnachies Girl may not be favourite and may be vulnerable to her 3yo rivals here, but equally she knows where the winning post is and obviously has an experience edge.

MIGRATION (7.15 Sandown)

Newmarket trainer David Menuisier (21.43%) and Champion jockey Silvestre De Sousa (26.72%) both have excellent records at Sandown Park and indeed, are both profitable to follow blind at the Esher venue.

They pair up with Migration here, whose sights are lowered having contested big handicaps at Royal Ascot and the July Festival on his last two starts. He was proving to be a progressive 3yo before those two outings and his BHA rating of 88 is still workable. This is a hot little race but several indicators suggest Migration is not to be taken lightly.
