1:20 Doncaster – William Hill Doncaster Mile Stakes

Andrew: “The one I’ve come down on is Astral Beau for Pam Sly. Won the race last year and she loves soft and heavy going and runs well fresh.”

Dave: “Andrew has just taken everything I wanted to say! Astral Beau won this race first time off 12 months ago and she doesn’t need to put up a better performance than last year.”

1:50 Doncaster – William Hill EBF Brocklesby Stakes

Andrew: “I always back horses owned by AMO Racing on their debut, so Mystical Elegance is my selection here.”

Dave: “I did go through the breeding for this and Sunny Time is interesting and he’s 50/1, so he will be my token interest.”

2:10 Newbury – Bet In-Play On Racing With BetVictor Novices’ Handicap Hurdle

Dave: “This one wins hard held! It’s Kartoon And Co for the Skeltons. He gets 12lbs for being a four-year-old and he looks off a nice mark. I think the step up in trip will help”

2:25 Doncaster – William Hill Epic Boost Spring Mile Handicap

Dave: “The last three winners of this came off running off the all-weather, so that does tick the boxes for most of these, but the one I like at the bottom is Tonal for Ian Williams.”

Andrew: “Two horses caught my eye and one of those is Thunder Roar, who has had three wins from five runs on soft or heavy going. The other one is Look Back Smiling for Gemma Tutty, who was a winner here over seven furlongs on his last start.”

2.40 Newbury – Get Best Odds Guaranteed At BetVictor Handicap Chase

Andrew: “I thought Heltenham was a big price around 9/4, I thought he should be around a 6/4 shot or shorter. He’s up against some horses that aren’t running in the right conditions.”

Dave: “I like Gustavian, who has got an 8lb swing with Heltenham for a 10-length beating. He won’t get an uncontested lead out front, but I wonder if Sam Twiston-Davies will look to get to the front and go hard.”

3:00 Doncaster – William Hill Cammidge Trophy Stakes

Dave: “I do think Montassib is the best horse in the race. He was poor here last year, but the trip was wrong for him last time as well, so I think he’s a reasonable price.”

William Hill Cammidge Trophy Stakes (Listed Race)

Andrew: “I’m with Dave on Montassib. He doesn’t perform in the summer, so you can throw out his June, July and August form, so I thought at the prices he might be the one to take on the front three.”

3:00 Doncaster – William Hill Lincoln

Dave: “I did some Lincoln Handicap Trends and the one that comes out is The Gatekeeper, who absolute bolts up!”

William Hill Lincoln (Heritage Handicap)

Andrew:Thunder Ball I liked. He’s only ever had three runs over a mile on turf and he’s drawn in stall seven and at 20/1 I will go Thunder Ball over The Gatekeeper.”
