Harry Cobden is back on GG to run us through all his rides on day two of the 2019 Cheltenham Festival. The likeable novice chaser Topofthegame is his most high profile ride.
Topofthegame - RSA Insurance Novices Chase
Ran a lovely race at Kempton on Boxing Day finishing second in the Grade 1 Kauto Star novice chase. Has really improved since then and I think he’ll run a big race.
Brio Conti - Coral Cup Handicap Hurdle
Won at Ascot last time under Bryony Frost in a competitive race. The form has worked out well and hopefully he’s still improving.
Politologue - Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase
I won the Tingle Creek on him last season, He hasn’t disgraced himself this year, running three good races. Altior is going to be very hard to beat.
Ultragold - Glenfarclas Chase
The Tizzards took him to Cheltenham a couple of weeks ago and I schooled him over the cross-country jumps which he jumped really well. A race I’m really looking forward to riding in.
Dogon - Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle
Was slightly disappointing first time out this season but really upped his game at Wincanton last time. A race that Paul has a good record in. I think he will run a tidy race.
Ask For Glory - Weatherbys Champion Bumper
Bolted up in good style at Chepstow on his UK debut. A horse that I really like and can’t wait to see him over some obstacles next season.
