1:50pm Newcastle – BetMGM All-Weather 3 Year Old Championships Handicap

James Tate’s HELLO ZAMAN stormed to victory in a Lingfield maiden back in January in fine style, while he was just touched off by a smart rival in Diablo Rojo on his next outing on the same all-weather surface. That horse has since gone on and finished fourth in the Group 3 Greenham Stakes, so the form has been well and truly franked and the Hello Youmzain colt can continue his progression and land this three-year-old event at 1:50pm.

Given a mark of 87, Tate’s charge pulled two lengths clear of the rest of the field in that defeat to Diablo Rojo, so he was much the best of the rest that day and could still have bundles of improvement to come. The likes of So Darn Hot and Humam could be notable adversaries, but Hello Zaman looks a really solid bet for this competitive contest.

3:00pm Newcastle – BetMGM All-Weather Championships Mile Handicap

Down the field in the Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot back in June, Clive Cox’s CRACKING GOLD has since gone from strength to strength and having run some fine efforts in defeat he was finally able to get his head in front last time out when winning impressively at Southwell by two lengths. He’s been given a 5lbs rise for that success, so he will need to show improvement off a mark of 93 here, but available at double-figured odds he could be the value play in the race.

The likes of Andrew Balding’s Storm Star and John & Thady Gosden’s Roi De France are entitled to be at the spearhead of the betting, but Cox’s charge comes into the race in the form of his life and he could well relish the outing on the all-weather again and duly take this prize with aplomb.

4:07pm Newcastle – BetUK All-Weather Easter Classic Middle Distance Handicap

It could be a fabulous day for the trainer/jockey pairing of James Tate and Clifford Lee as not only can they claim victory earlier in the afternoon with Hello Zaman they can pair up in the 4.07pm contest with SMART HERO, who can claim victory. Two eye-catching wins at Wolverhampton has seen him rocket to a mark of 94 and he could be more than capable of making it a hat-trick of wins here.

He steps up slightly in trip here and he will need to settle better if he is to land a blow, as last time out at Southwell he was very keen, however, still managed to cruise to victory. That suggested that he could be a really smart performer and he can get the better of the likes of Glen Buck and Old Harrovian, who are another pair that are fancied to go close in another cracking betting heat.

4:42pm Newcastle – BetUK All-Weather Championships Marathon Handicap

Hugo Palmer’s ROARING LEGEND has been in the form of his life having claimed three back-to-back-to-back wins at Wolverhampton, Newcastle and Lingfield. Now the flourishing five-year-old son of Roaring Lion will look to land the four-timer in the final race on the card at 4.42pm.

He’s been given a whopping 8lbs rise by the handicapper for his most recent victory, which saw him storm to a five-length success, but he could be more than capable of defying that rise and carrying top weight to victory. He has shown he has bundles and stamina and could well simply outclass his rivals in a fascinating marathon finale.
