BUNGEE JUMP (3.05 Windsor)

Show Stealer will be very popular in the 6f Class 4 Ossie And Hutch Memorial Fillies’ Handicap at Windsor (3.05), as she won the Class 2 Windsor Sprint Series Finale over course and distance on her latest start, a race worth over £46,000 to the winner. She’s only 3lb higher here and drops into Class 4 company for the first time since scoring by six lengths at Bath in July of last year. However, she’s priced accordingly and I’d rather take a chance on another class-dropper, [BUNGEE JUMP. The Grace Harris-trained four-year-old wasn’t beaten far when fifth in a Class 3 handicap over trip and track last time and also impressed on her latest outing in Class 4 company, making all for a three and-a-half length win at Chepstow. Her record in fields of seven or fewer runners, in Class 4 or lower company, reads 6151125121 (5-10), improving to 111211 (5-6) when returned to the track within a fortnight as she is here.

TIDE OF TIME (3.10 Tipperary)

Those drawn high enjoyed a big advantage in the 6f Curragh handicap won by Buffer Zone on June 29th, with the first five home drawn 12, 11, 1, 10 and 13. The ‘outlier’ was TIDE OF TIME, third from stall 1 and best of those to race far side/centre. Aleef, fifth from stall 5, scored at Naas next time and Tide Of Time will appreciate the cut back to the minimum trip when he contests the Follow Tipperary On Facebook Handicap (3.10).
