He won his only previous course start and looks over-priced.

This time last year HIGHWAY ONE O TWO won the Grade 2 Dovecote Novices’ Hurdle at Kempton at odds of 4-1 where he had the 6-4 favourite Buzz over 17 lengths back in fourth place. Things haven’t gone to plan since for Chris Gordon’s six-year-old but he’s had excuses – twice failing to complete over fences and never getting involved from miles off the pace when sixth of nine at Sandown on his return to hurdling. That run looked very much likely a confidence booster and the best of his hurdling speed figures – notably a Raceform figure of 116 when scoring at Plumpton on his first run over obstacles – suggest he could be competitive today despite quotes of around the 40-1 mark.
