Latest ExhibitionTop tipster Andrew Mount struck with 2pt selection Royal Claret at Hereford on Wednesday (SP 11-2) and has bets at Chelmsford, Clonmel and Leicester on Thursday

RING THE MOON – (1.00 Leicester, 1pt win - 5/1)

RING THE MOON is a 15-race maiden but the Evan Williams-trained eight-year-old was a solid second of 18 in a handicap hurdle at Chepstow last time and is worth chancing on his return to fences. His jumping was far from fluent in four chase runs last autumn but the first-time cheekpieces might help and his trainer is four form seven when using this headgear in novice handicap chases, for a profit of £31.50 to a £1 level stake at SP.

COOLE ARCADE – (3.30 Clonmel, 1pt each-way - 4/1)

COOLE ARCADE is a seven-race maiden but has only had the two runs in handicap hurdles and he was a big eyecatcher at Tramore on New Year’s Day. It usually pays to race wide in hurdle races on deep ground at that venue but, with the rail moved out, that was not the case. Coole Arcade gave up the outside to no-one and couldn't quite get in a blow from off the pace, finishing just over one length back in second place. He was placed at 40-1 in his only other handicap outing and can be supported each-way.

REBEL REDEMPTION - (5.30 Chelmsford, 1pt each-way - 9/2)

San Juan did us a good turn at Southwell last Sunday but is up in trip, drawn wide and switching surfaces. William Hill opened up at 5-2 but soon saw that cut to 5-4 and, at the current prices, I’m more interested in REBEL REDEMPTION, whose trainer had a winner in these colours at Wolverhampton the other night in the shape of Lord Riddiford. Rebel Redemption sat a little closer to the early pace than perhaps ideal when a narrow third at Newcastle last week but that was still a solid effort from the 12-1 shot. The son of Lethal Force hasn’t had many opportunities in Polytrack sprints, winning and finishing last of five when failing to settle in two such outings (both over course and distance). Perfectly drawn in stall 1, he looks the likeliest pace angle and can make all.
