The Michael Bell-trained Destructive impressed when landing a Wolverhampton maiden last month on his first start since a gelding operation and followed up at the same venue on his handicap debut when making all to score by a length from FAST SOCIETY. That race was run in a fast time and the form has been given a couple of minor boosts by the fourth/fifth who have both run well in defeat subsequently. Fast Society has gone up 3lb for his runner-up effort but still looks on an upward curve and his only other outing on Tapeta saw him score comfortably when 11-1 for a 7f Southwell novice back in September 2023. The step up to 9.4f should suit and he should get a good tow into the race from Eagle Day, drawn on his inside.

7.30 Wolverhampton – BACK TOMORROW (1pt win – 3/1 bet365, Ladbrokes)
This 6f handicap looks set to be run at a strong gallop and that will suit BACK TOMORROW, who was disadvantaged by the steady early pace when only sixth to Piperstown over course and distance last time. The Evan Whillans-trained five-year-old now has form figures over a turning 6f on Tapeta of 1124941116 (5-10) and the form of her latest effort was boosted when the third won at Lingfield yesterday.
