The nine-year-old took a big step forward when a 28-1 fourth of 11 in a good-ground 2m4f handicap hurdle here at Uttoxeter next time and he looks interesting now back up in trip on his favoured deep ground. Six of his top seven RPRs (Racing Post Ratings) came on officially soft or heavy going and he has won third time out twice in the past three seasons.
