3.28 Bath – ALBUS ANNE (1.5pt win – 11/4 bet365)
ALBUS ANNE took her record over 1m at Bath to 1211 (3-4) when beating Equion into second on October 1st, form that was franked by the runner-up who went one better at Leicester next time. The Jimmy Fox-trained mare found three-year-old pair The Amazon and Desperate Dan too good when bidding for a hat-trick at Windsor last time but pulled eight lengths clear of the fourth and looks set to run another big race now back at her favourite venue. The soft ground is in her favour, as is the drop back down to Class 6 level, and this slow-starter looks set to encounter the required strong pace.
