Excellent Review

2.30 Taunton – Amelia’s Dance (1pt win – 13/2 generally)
It’s surprising that Half Dozen is as short as he is in the market, given his Hereford victory is not much to should about, and this is a quick turnaround. AMELIA’S DANCE is the one to give him the most to think about, with an excellent course win here on her penultimate start, which recorded a very good time in comparison to Holetown Hero, who runs later on the card off of 125 (evens fav). Five of her seven pounds rise is negotiated by her jockey’s claim, and she has scored three times at this venue, taking her form figures to 14311. She is still handicapped to have a say on the balance of form and the clock if reproducing her recent course run.

Cornish Rock Gin Handicap Hurdle

7.00 Wolverhampton – Revolutionise (1pt win – 10/1 generally)
REVOLUTIONISE is drawn well in stall 2, and the return to this venue, where he was a ready scorer back in November, is a big positive. On that evidence, he is well treated, and he is now 2-5 at this track. He had to wait for a run at Lingfield last time but finished to good effect, and he looks ready to strike again. This is a good contest, but with the first run likely on a few of his main rivals that are drawn wide, it’s hard to see him being pegged bag easily. These are his optimum conditions, and his price is a very fair one.

8.30 Wolverhampton – Dinoo (2pt win – 13/8 generally)
It would be disappointing if DINOO was not good enough to win this contest after unfortunate defeats the last twice. He has been knocking on the door, and the handicapper has given him a chance leaving him with the same rating and allowing him to continue in Class 5 company. The penultimate second to Tequilamockingbird is strong form, and he was caught too far back at Kempton when attempting this trip on the first occasion. He has plenty of stamina for this distance, and this is his trainer’s only runner of the day. Now they know he gets the trip he will surely be ridden more prominently, and today is the day he gets his head back in front returned to the scene of his last victory. He is bred for this middle-distance trip, and he ticks plenty of boxes today.
