International Horse RacingA fantastic week continued yesterday with 4/1 shot Charlesquint successful. Our experts are back with their best French Racing Tips on Friday

BRIGANTINE (12.00 Moulins, 7f)

This is a weak race and it looks primed for the taking by Brigantine, who ran well to finish fourth last time after struggling for room around the fina turn before finishing strongly over a furlong shorter.

The return to this trip should suit and there could be further improvement on the cards. Won back in October so she clearly knows how to win and her consistency of late is a positive.

BO PAPA (13.41 Moulins, 1m3f)

Final finishing positions of 098 in his last starts does not do him justice and he should go really well now dropped in class here.

A win five starts ago over this trip shows his ability to cope with the distance and it was noticeable how well he travelled on his first start back after a 98-day break last time.

His last win came on his second start after a break in November so that reads well in the context of a good performance in this race.

AMAZONYA (14.49 Moulins, 1m3f)

Was sent off joint favourite for a handicap at Lyon-Parilly last week but that run is best forgotten as she suffered trouble in running when attempting an effort up the rail before finishing eighth.

Had previously finished a decent fourth behind Souveraine Elusive, who has since franked the form by winning again, and a valuable 7lb is claimed off her back by Axelle Nicco. She could well be the nap of the day.

SKY POWER (16.35 Bordeaux, 7f)

Form is tied in closely with the likely favourite but Sky Power is a far bigger price and looks value.

Looked to be full of running in a Listed race at Longchamp on his first start of the season a couple of weeks ago and that run looked to show plenty of promise for the months ahead.

Olivier Peslier has been booked for the ride, which is a bonus, and at the likely prices he makes plenty of appeal.
