France Racing Tips – Best Bets At Lyon-Parilly on Friday

international Horse racing

Since Monday we’ve had 6/1, 5/1, 25/1, 11/4, 9/2, 11/4, 16/1 and 4/1 winners from 17 selections with our French Racing Tips, operating at a near 50 per cent strike-rate. We’re back again with our best bets from Lyon-Parilly on Friday as we attempt to continue that good winning run

SILVER SCHNOK (10.45 Lyon-Parilly)

Has had just the two starts in her career and made a winning debut before finishing runner-up to Private Romance over furlong further than this in a decent race last time.

Private Romance ran well in a Listed race on her return to action this week so the form from last season is shaping up solidly and Silver Schnok has already proved her ability in testing conditions – the ground is described as soft at Lyon-Parilly.

The drop to a mile seems certain to suit and she could prove dangerous to peg back from the front.

STEP BY STEP (12.15 Lyon-Parilly)

There are also no stamina fears over this runner as he’s already won over this 1m3f trip when landing a Fontainebleu maiden on his penultimate start.

He them looked unlucky not to get closer to the winner when stopped in his run at a crucial time at this track last time.

Handles the conditions and looks likely to go close under Gregory Benoist.

SAN HUBERTO (1m4f Listed, 1.58 Lyon-Parilly)

It’s a mere coincidence that this horse also begins with the letter ‘s’ and we fancy him to run a big race.

The four-year-old was successful at this level at Deauville last year before being sent on his travels to America, where he finished third in a turf contest worth $630,000 to the winner.

Disappointed on his return to France in a Group 2 on Arc weekend but we’ve taken the view he can be forgiven that just a few weeks after his globetrotting.

He should still be improving after just seven starts and he could be one to keep an eye on this summer.

GIPSY JET SEPT (2.32 Lyon-Parilly)

A tough middle-distance handicap to solve and it’s likely that Restless will start market leader for trainer Alain de Royer Dupre.

But we’re going to take another flyer on Gipsy Jet Sept, who is also open to improvement winning one of just five career starts.

He’s performed okay when upped in class in two races since and it’s worth taking a note of the fact that he’s been well fancied on both those runs, which suggests he could be one to come good soon.

He’ll have no problem with the ground and trip and could well outrun his double-figure odds.
