York racecourseDaryl Carter looks to continue the good form into the weekend, with five selections at York, Sandown and Goodwood on Friday. Check out his bets below, along with a superb BetBull offer that provides new customers with £40 in free bets when they bet £20.

EMIYN - (2.20 York, 1pt win - 15/2)

EMIYN did remarkably well on the first start for this yard on the back of a break and the back of a gelding operation when seventh of 19 here at York at the Dante Festival. He was drawn in stall 17, had to travel wide for much of the race and set a scorching gallop until he faded inside the final furlong.

However, that performance can be significantly upgraded, and the drop back to 1m2f today now race fit looks a very good move. This is also a slight ease in grade, and the handicapper has dropped him 2lbs for the performance. He boasts some strong Irish form for former trainer Dermot Weld, and there is every chance he is open to further improvement here. Drawn well in stall two this time around, he makes plenty of appeal.

ANDALEEP - (3.20 Sandown, 1pt each-way - 20/1)

This is tricky, but I do want to take a chance on ANDALEEP. He has produced two career-best performances at this track and replicated in nowhere else, although he hasn't had that many opportunities to do so given he went hurdling.

He is 3lbs higher than his last winning handicap mark here over course and distance, but this looks a weaker race on paper than that one. He is fairly unexposed on the level after just 18 starts, but only ten have come on the turf, and should he capitalise on this handicap mark, it will undoubtedly be at this track.

DUKE OF HAZZARD - (4.00 York, 2pts win - 13/8)

This looks like an excellent opportunity for DUKE OF HAZZARD to get his head back in front after an encouraging run at Epsom last time. He has been behind Space Traveller previously, but that one arrives out of form and with question marks to answer over this first-time headgear (well beat in first time visor and first-time blinkers).

There are questions with most of his rivals also, so a repeat run may even be enough to land this small field event.

DUBAI INSTINCT - (5.05 York, 1pt win - 9/2)

This is an apprentice handicap, so wise to tread carefully, and if not today, another will see *DUABI INSTINCT go in off of this handicap mark of 77. Today his inexperienced claimer takes off a further 7lb, and on the balance of his excellent run here in a hot York Handicap two starts ago, he is thrown in.

He did excellently well from on the front end of the pace only to be picked up late by two progressive horses, and he had today's Bollin Joan in behind on that occasion. This is nowhere near as competitive, and his latest run on soft ground when too keen in a steadily run affair can be forgiven. However, back on a sounder surface, it's worth chancing at the prices.

END RESULT - (5.50 Goodwood, 3pts win - 5/2)

END RESULT is improving fast, and the step up to this trip on the balance of her form looks a great move by David Elsworth. She has been remarkably consistent and her run at Newmarket last time confirmed she is very well treated off this mark of 77. The winner at Newmarket landed the Zetland Gold Cup next time, and the runner-up (places switched) chased home a progressive horse at Haydock next time.

The fourth scored at Sandown next time, and even the eighth went close on his next start. Her Newbury heavy ground win over 1m2f in which the emphasis was on stamina at the back end of last term has worked out well with the runner-up now rated 17lbs higher, and the fifth won next time out is 5lbs higher while she is only 6lbs higher. She was better than the bare result twice last term at Kempton and Sandown, and her Sandown run in which she should have won now sees the winner 16lbs higher.

She has all the right conditions today to prove she is well treated. She has the strongest form in the race, and there is guaranteed pace with Mark Johnston's Roseabad in here, while Pearl Beach has been best on the all-weather and may be held now by the handicapper. Sweet Celebration is a doubtful stayer and is hardly progressing, and Quenelle D'Or, who is the danger, won't have a soft lead. All in all, she has to be a confident bet.
