There’s a bumper day’s racing taking place in front of the ITV Racing cameras on Sunday 15th June, 2025, as the Sunday Series moves to Hamilton Park. The ITV7 will be dominated by the action at the Scottish Flat venue and we aim to pick out a selection for each of the races in Sunday’s ITV7, which is set to have a prize fund of £40,000.

Race 1 – 3.45pm Hamilton – Enter ITV7 For Free EBF Novice Stakes
Only five go to post for the first race of the afternoon at Hamilton, but the standout contender in the novice stakes is BIG FUN, who can land the prize for Kevin Ryan and Tom Eaves. One of only two contenders with experience, the Showcasing gelding showed huge promise on debut when finishing second at Pontefract at 20/1, and with more improvement set to come on his second start then he can land the prize.
Race 2 – 4.15pm Hamilton – Sky Bet Extra Places Every Day Handicap
Sixth in the 3YO Epsom Dash Handicap last weekend, GLORIOUS KITTY is set to make a quick return to the track for the 4:15pm contest and looks a decent value play in a hugely competitive betting heat. The Mick & David Easterby-trained runner was sixth on Derby day at Epsom, but was squashed for room in the closing stages, so could be better than that. He remains on the same mark of 75 for this event and could well be a lively challenger in a wide open race.
Race 3 – 4.45pm Hamilton – Sky Bet, For The Fans Handicap
Ed Walker’s KING’S SCHOLAR has been in tremendous form of late notching up three wins from his last four starts and the flourishing four-year-old can continue the excellent run of victories with success in the 4:45pm at Hamilton. Last seen bounding to a three-quarters-of-a-length win at Hamilton, Walker’s raider will return to the Scottish venue to try and reign supreme once again. He’s been upped 5lbs for that win, but he seems to relish these sorts of stamina tests and looks capable of delivering once again.
Race 4 – 5.15pm Hamilton – Sky Bet Build A Bet Handicap
Rated in the high 90s in his prime, BERGERAC can roll back the years in the 5:15pm contest and make the most of an eye-catching mark of 87 for this 5f contest. He was a very promising second at York off the same mark last time out, where a drop back from six furlongs to five saw him blossom. Set to be a well fancied runner for this contest, the seven-year-old can duly record his first win in a year.
Race 5 – 5.45pm Hamilton – Sky Bet Proud To Support ROR Fillies’ Handicap
A winner over seven furlongs at Beverley, SURPRISED will step up to beyond a mile for the 5:45pm contest and Ed Bethell’s filly can claim victory. That win came on her second start and while she failed to follow that up when second at Catterick last time out, she has shown enough to believe she can be a force in handicap company. Lining up off 80 here, the daughter of Ulysses is more than capable of showing improvement and has to be respected.
Race 6 – 6.15pm Hamilton – Sky Bet Club Handicap
A three-times course winner, HOUR BY HOUR will hope a return to Hamilton can see him venture into the winner’s enclosure again and he’s the tentative selection in the penultimate race of the day. He has three wins from five races, but Iain Jardine’s charge has rocketed up the handicap in recent times, so it’s going to be tough, however, a return to better ground should see him go close at decent odds.

Race 7 – 6.45pm Hamilton – Sky Bet Price Boosts Apprentice Handicap
GALLANT LION put up a hugely impressive display at Chepstow last time out, as easing down late on he claimed a three-quarters-of-a-length win. Now, the Ian Williams-trained runner is looking to follow up and defy a 7lb rise and grab victory in the 6:45pm contest. The five-year-old seemed to relish the fast ground at the Welsh venue, so if conditions are quick then he can duly notch up back-to-back wins.
